COUNTY LOCAL LAWS
AN EMERGENCY ACT to:

(1)  reorganize and update the law on eating and drinking
establishments and delete provisions which more
properly belong in executive regulations;

(2)  require food service facility managers to be certified
in basic food microbiology and sanitation;

(3)  clarify that construction or renovation of a food
service facility is permitted only with a properly
approved set of plans; and

(4)  make technical and stylistic amendments.

AN ACT to:

(1)  authorize the Director of the Department of Animal
Control and Humane Treatment and the Director's
designee to enforce Chapter 31B as it relates to a
noise disturbance from an animal source;

(2)  clarify that the Police Department and designees of the
Director of the Department of Environmental Protection
may enforce Chapter 31B;

(3)  eliminate a requirement that, for certain enforcement
actions, a noise disturbance must originate from an
intermittent source;

(4)  make stylistic changes;

(5)  define a term; and

(6)  generally revise provisions regarding enforcement of
