CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION - 89-1

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF COTTAGE CITY,
MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957) Edition, as amended) to amend
the Charter of the said town, said charter being Subtitle 17 of
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963
Edition, as amended), which article contains in whole or in part
the Charter of the Town of Cottage City, by repealing and
re-enacting with amendments Section 22 of said Charter.

Prince George's County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF CUMBERLAND
ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY OF ARTICLE HE OF THE
CONSTITUTION OF MARYLAND AND SECTION 13 OF ARTICLE 23A OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1987 REPLACEMENT VOLUME, 1987
SUPPLEMENT) TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
CUMBERLAND, SAID CHARTER BEING CODIFIED AS PART I OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND (1966 EDITION, AS SUPPLEMENTED),
TO REPEAL AND REENACT, WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTIONS 81(b), 81(e),
AND 92(d) OF SAID CHARTER AND TO ENACT A NEW SECTION 82A, IN
ORDER TO REVISE AND CLARIFY THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER
RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF
THE CITY.
