(II)  THE DATE BY WHICH THE BOARD MUST RECEIVE
THE RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR THE RENEWAL TO BE ISSUED AND MAILED
BEFORE THE LICENSE EXPIRES; AND

(III)  THE AMOUNT OF THE RENEWAL FEE.

(C) APPLICATIONS FOR RENEWAL.

BEFORE A LICENSE EXPIRES, THE LICENSEE PERIODICALLY MAY
RENEW IT FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2-YEAR TERM, IF THE LICENSEE:

(1)  APPLIES FOR RENEWAL IN APRIL OR MAY OF THE YEAR
IN WHICH THE LICENSE IS DUE TO EXPIRE, UNLESS THE BOARD IN ITS
DISCRETION ALLOWS OTHERWISE;

(2)  OTHERWISE IS ENTITLED TO BE LICENSED;

(3)  PAYS TO THE BOARD A RENEWAL FEE OF:
(I) $400 FOR A LICENSE OTHER THAN A LIMITED

LICENSE;

OR

(II)  $300 FOR A 34-FOOT-DRAFT LIMITED LICENSE;

(III)  $200 FOR A 28-FOOT-DRAFT LIMITED LICENSE;

AND

(4) SUBMITS TO THE BOARD A RENEWAL APPLICATION ON THE
FORM THAT THE BOARD PROVIDES.

(D) ISSUANCE OF RENEWAL.

THE BOARD SHALL RENEW THE LICENSE OF A LICENSEE WHO MEETS
THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from the
second sentence of former Art. 74, § 4(b).

Subsection (b) of this section is standard language
added to conform to the practice of the Board and to
similar provisions governing other State-regulated
occupations.

Subsection (c)(1) and (3) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from
former Art. 74, § 4(d), as that subsection related to
renewals of licenses, and the second and third clauses
of the first sentence of (b), as those clauses related
to renewals.
