(c) An affidavit under this section shall be signed by:

(1)  the president and the treasurer of the
institution or corporation; or

(2)   if there is no president or treasurer, another
officer or individual who has charge of and disburses the money
of the institution or corporation.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

Marine Insurance - Definition

FOR the purpose of altering certain provisions of law relating to
the kinds of risks and coverages that may be classified or
identified as marine insurance.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 48A - Insurance Code

70.

(1) "Marine insurance" includes:

(i) Insurance against any and all kinds of loss or
damage to:

(A) Vessels, craft, aircraft, cars,
automobiles, trailers and vehicles of every kind, as well as all
goods, freights, cargoes, merchandise, effects, disbursements,
