Ch. 789 LAWS OF MARYLAND
Hygiene to establish and conduct a certain educational
program; requiring an individual who attends a certain
program to pay a reasonable fee set by the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene; providing that certain health
care providers may not refuse, withhold from, deny, or
discriminate against an individual with regard to the
provision of professional services for which the health care
provider is licensed because of physical or mental handicap
an individual is HIV positive; requiring certain persons to
complete a certain educational program under certain
circumstances; prohibiting a knowing transfer or an attempt
to transfer of the human immunodeficiency virus and
providing certain penalties; providing for a delayed
effective date for certain provisions of this Act; and
generally relating to human immunodeficiency virus.
