Ch. 789

SECTION 5 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That by January

1,  1990, the Secretary of General Services shall conduct a study
of the feasibility of locating all or most administrative law
judges at a single location. Until this study is implemented, an
administrative law judge may continue to work at the location at
which the employee worked prior to transfer to the Office of
Administrative Hearings.

SECTION 6 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 4
5 and 5 6 of this Act shall take effect July 1, 1989.

SECTION 7 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 1,

2,  3, and 3 4 of this Act shall take effect January 1, 1990.

(Senate Bill 719)

AN ACT concerning

Human Immunodeficiency Virus - Omnibus Bill

FOR the purpose of defining certain terms; altering the
definition of a certain term definitions of certain terms;
establishing procedures for health care providers for
obtaining blood samples for the purposes of testing blood
for the presence of the human immunodeficiency virus;
authorizing certain health care providers to inform local
health officers certain persons of the identity of certain
individuals under certain conditions; requiring the local
health officer to enforce the requirements governing the
control of infectious and contagious diseases when notified
that an individual has tested HIV positive; establishing
procedures for certain individuals to request notification
that a certain exposure has occurred; providing for certain
penalties; providing certain immunity to certain health care
providers under certain circumstances; altering a certain
definition; requiring certain persons to furnish blood
samples for the purposes of testing blood for the presence
of the human immunodeficiency virus under certain
circumstances; requiring the notification of certain
employees of the results of a certain test; requiring the
provision of certain counseling to inmates and correctional

employees under certain circumstances; requiring

correctional institutions to develop certain written
procedures; requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental
