registered but shall be persons who have engaged in
the practice ... for a period of at least seven (7)
years and who hold a degree", are deleted as obsolete.

Board have expired.

9-203. OFFICERS.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

FROM AMONG ITS MEMBERS, THE BOARD ANNUALLY SHALL ELECT A
CHAIRMAN AND A SECRETARY.

(B)  ELECTIONS.

THE MANNER OF ELECTION OF OFFICERS SHALL BE AS THE BOARD
DETERMINES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from the
first clause of former Art. 56, § 277(c).

Subsection (b) of this section is standard language
added to clarify the manner of election of the
officers of the Board.

9-204. MEETINGS; COMPENSATION; STAFF.

(A)  MEETINGS.

THE BOARD SHALL MEET AT LEAST TWICE A YEAR, AT THE TIMES AND
PLACES THAT THE BOARD DETERMINES.

(B)  COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES.
A MEMBER OF THE BOARD:

(1)  MAY NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION; BUT

(2)  IS ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES UNDER
THE STANDARD STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS, AS PROVIDED IN THE STATE
BUDGET.
