WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 709
of Garrett County in office on the effective date of this Act,
but the provisions of this Act concerning the salary or
compensation of the County Commissioners of Garrett County, the
County Treasurer, the judges of the Orphans' Court, the members
of the Board of Education, the Sheriff, the State's Attorney and
the substitute members of the Board of Supervisors of Elections
of Garrett County shall take effect at the beginning of the next
following term of office.
SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning
Oil Storage Facilities - Registration
FOR the purpose of requiring certain persons to register certain
oil storage facilities with the Department of the
Environment on or before a certain date each year;
specifying that, unless an oil storage facility is
registered, oil, petroleum products, or their by products
may not be delivered sold to or received by the oil storage
facility; requiring the Department to adopt certain
regulations and set certain fees requiring certain persons
to notify the Department within a certain time when certain
oil storage facilities are removed or no longer in use;
defining certain terms; providing for a certain effective
date; and generally relating to the registration of certain
oil storage facilities.
