8-506. TRANSFER OF LICENSE.

A PERSON MAY NOT TRANSFER OR OFFER TO TRANSFER A LICENSE FOR
CONSIDERATION.

without substantive change from former Art. 56, §
522(1) .

The words "transfer or offer to transfer ... for
consideration" are substituted for the former words
"[s]ell, barter or offer to sell or barter", for
clarity.

The defined term "license" is substituted for the
former limited reference to a "certificate of
registration" since there seemed to be ho intent to
exclude an individual who transfers what formerly was
called a "certificate of endorsement". See the

8-507. MATERIAL ALTERATION OF LICENSE.

A PERSON MAY NOT MATERIALLY ALTER A LICENSE WITH FRAUDULENT
INTENT.
