WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 647

PROFESSIONAL FORESTER SHALL SUBMIT THE PLAN TO THE STATE FORESTER
FOR FINAL APPROVAL WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER THE PLAN IS SUBMITTED.

(2) THE STATE FORESTER SHALL ACT AS EXPEDITIOUSLY AS
POSSIBLE IN GIVING FINAL APPROVAL OF THE PLAN.

(3) THE STATE FORESTER MAY NOT UNREASONABLY WITHHOLD
FINAL APPROVAL OF THE PLAN.

(H)(1) A PLAN TO REPLANT TREES UNDER THIS SECTION MAY
INCLUDE A MIXTURE OF SPECIES AND SIZES OF TREES, INCLUDING MATURE
TREES.

(2) THE STATE FORESTER OR A REGISTERED, PROFESSIONAL
FORESTER MAY DETERMINE THE SPECIES AND SIZES OF TREES FOR
REPLANTING. HOWEVER, THE REPLANTING OF ONLY SEEDLINGS IS NOT
ENCOURAGED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Workmen's Compensation - Funeral Expenses Claim -
Statute of Limitations

FOR the purpose of altering the statutory period within which a
valid claim for funeral expenses shall be allowed under the
workmen's compensation laws; and generally relating to
claims for funeral expenses under the workmen's compensation
laws.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 101 - Workmen's Compensation

Section 37(d)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
