Ch. 632                                    LAWS OF MARYLAND

An individual who is licensed to practice forestry in
another state or country may practice forestry in this State
without a license if:

(1)  the state or country in which the individual is
licensed waives the license requirements for licensees of this
State to a similar extent as this State waives the license
requirements for individuals licensed in that state or country;

(2)  the individual submits to the Board evidence that
the individual is licensed in the other state or country; and

(3)  the individual:

(i) is not a resident of this State and does
not maintain a place of business in this State; or

(ii) has [recently] become a resident of this
State WITHIN THE PRECEDING 6 MONTHS.

8-204.

(A) A MAJORITY OF THE AUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIP OF THE BOARD IS
A QUORUM.

8-207.

(a)  The Board shall require, by regulation, periodic
calibration of audiometric equipment used by [persons who fit]
LICENSED hearing [aids] AID DEALERS.

(b)  The Board [shall] MAY inspect [periodically] the
facilities used by [persons who fit] LICENSED hearing [aids] AID
DEALERS.

[8-515.

While providing or offering to provide hearing aid services,
a person may not advertise professional methods or professional
superiority.]

9-204.

(A) A MAJORITY OF THE AUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIP OF THE BOARD IS
A QUORUM.

9-208.

THE BOARD EXERCISES ITS POWERS, DUTIES, AND FUNCTIONS
SUBJECT TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE SECRETARY.
