(k) The Prince George's County Board of License
Commissioners may not issue any new Class A beer, wine, and
liquor licenses within, or transfer any additional Class A beer,
wine, and liquor licenses into the boundaries of the 24th or 25th
Legislative District.

Chapter 709 of the Acts of 1988

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED [,] :

(1) That the provisions of Article 2B, [§ 53(j)] §
53(K) APPLYING TO THE 24TH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT shall remain
effective for a period of 1-year 3 YEARS and, at the end of June
30, 1989 1991, and with no further action required by the General
Assembly, Article 2B, [§ 53(j)] § 53(K) APPLYING TO THE 24TH
LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT shall be abrogated and of no further force
and effect[.]; AND

(2) THAT THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 2B, § 53(K)
APPLYING TO THE 25TH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT SHALL REMAIN EFFECTIVE
UNTIL JUNE 30, 1991, AND WITH NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED BY THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY, ARTICLE 2B, § 53(K), SHALL BE ABROGATED AND OF
NOT FURTHER FORCE AND EFFECT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Public Health - Donated Food - Civil Liability

FOR the purpose of adding a certain exemption from civil
liability for certain persons who donate food or prepare,
serve, or dispense donated food for certain uses; providing
that a certain exemption from civil liability does not apply
in certain circumstances; defining a certain term; and
generally relating to the exemption from civil liability for
persons who donate food or prepare or serve donated food.
