AND REGULATIONS OF THE COUNTY IN WHICH THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS
ARE LOCATED; or

(2) (i) require a State license for providing
electrical services as a master electrician; and

(ii) enforce the provisions of this title.

(B) EACH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION SHALL:

(1)  ADOPT REGULATIONS THAT HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
COMPARABLE TO, OR MORE STRINGENT THAN, § 6-304 OF THIS SUBTITLE
TO PROVIDE FOR THE LICENSING AND REGULATION OF MASTER
ELECTRICIANS; OR

(2)  ADOPT THE ELECTRICAL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE
COUNTY IN WHICH THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION IS LOCATED; OR

(3)  (I) REQUIRE A STATE LICENSE FOR PROVIDING
ELECTRICAL SERVICES AS A MASTER ELECTRICIAN; AND

(II) ENFORCE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS TITLE.

6-302.

(b) If a county OR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION does not require a
local license, the State license, while the State license is in
effect, authorizes the licensee to:

(1)  provide electrical services as a master
electrician; or

(2)  be the representative of another person who
engages in the business of providing electrical services.

6-307.

(a)  Subject to the limitations in this section, the State
Board shall waive the examination requirements of this subtitle
for an individual who holds a local license.

(b)  The State Board [may] SHALL grant a waiver under this
section only if the applicant:

(1)  pays the application fee required by § 6-305 of
this subtitle;

(2)  provides adequate evidence that the applicant:

(i) meets the qualifications otherwise required
by this subtitle; and
