(j) (1) In Charles and St. Mary's Counties, there [shall
be] IS a special Class D (on-sale) beer license which shall be
issued to any bona fide religious, fraternal, civic, veterans',
hospital or charitable organization, for a period not exceeding
[ten] 10 consecutive days from the effective date thereof[, upon
the payment of a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for each such
license].

LICENSE IS:

(2) THE FEE FOR EACH SPECIAL CLASS D (ON-SALE) BEER

(I)  IN CHARLES COUNTY $5; AND

(II)   IN ST. MARY'S COUNTY $10.

(j-1) In St. Mary's County, the board of license
commissioners may issue a special on-sale beer, wine and liquor
permit to any bona fide religious, fraternal, civic, veterans',
hospital or charitable organization for a period not exceeding
[one] 1 day, subject to any conditions the board of license
commissioners may impose on the issuance of this permit. The fee
for this permit is [$5.00] $10.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Crimes - Reckless Endangerment

FOR the purpose of creating a certain crime of reckless
endangerment as a misdemeanor; exempting certain conduct
from the provisions of this Act; establishing penalties for
the crime of reckless endangerment; and generally relating
to the crime of reckless endangerment.
