WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 468

(a) A Class A beer, wine and liquor license shall be issued
by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the
place of business is located, and shall authorize the holder to
keep for sale and to sell all alcoholic beverages at retail, in
any quantity, at the place therein described, and to deliver the
same in a sealed package or container which package or container
may not be opened nor its contents consumed on the premises where
sold. The annual fee for this license is $500, except as
otherwise provided in this section, and in all cases the fee
shall be payable to the clerk before any such license is issued,
for distribution as hereinafter provided.

(u) In St. Mary's County there are [two] 2 Class A
licenses:

(1)  A Class A-l license is a [seven] 7-day license
and the annual license fee is [$300] $400.

(2)  A Class A-2 license is a [six] 6-day license and
the annual license fee is [$200] $300.

19.

(a) A Class B beer, wine and liquor license shall be issued
by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the
place of business is located, and the license authorizes its
holder to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at
retail at any hotel or restaurant at the place described, for
consumption on the premises or elsewhere, or as provided in the
following subsections. The annual fee for this license is $750,
except as provided, and is payable to the clerk, before any
license is issued, for distribution as provided in this article.

(Z) IN ST. MARY'S COUNTY, THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE IS $650.

(Z-l) These licenses are issued in Baltimore City, and Anne
Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Charles,
Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Kent, Montgomery, Prince
George's, Queen Anne's, ST. MARY'S, Somerset, Talbot, Washington,
Wicomico and Worcester counties.

20.

(a) A Class C beer, wine and liquor license shall be issued
by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the
place of business is located, and shall authorize the holder
thereof to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at
retail at any club, at the place therein described, for
consumption on the premises only; except in Kent and Queen Anne's
Counties where beer may be sold for consumption off the premises.
The annual fee for such a license shall be two hundred and fifty
dollars ($250.00), and shall be payable to such clerk, before any
such license is issued, for distribution as hereinafter provided.
