AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Sheriff - Compensation

FOR the purpose of altering the annual salary of the Sheriff of
St. Mary's County; and generally relating to the
compensation of the Sheriff of St. Mary's County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

2-309.

[(t) The Sheriff of St. Mary's County shall receive an
annual salary as follows:

(1)  $18,000 for   1981 and 1982;

(2)  $28,000 for   1983;

(3)  $29,000 for   1984;

(4)  $30,000 for   1985; and
