Ch. 408

LAWS OF MARYLAND

1.  THE PREMISES ARE DECLARED BY THE
BALTIMORE CITY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
TO BE UNUSABLE FOR PURPOSES OF THE LICENSE; AND

2.  THE HOLDER HAS NOT BEEN CITED FOR ANY
LICENSE VIOLATION WITHIN A 2-YEAR PERIOD PRIOR TO THE DATE THE
BOARD DECLARES THE LICENSED PREMISES UNUSABLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

CHAPTER 408

(House Bill 323)

AN ACT concerning

Commercial Motor Vehicles - Registration Fees - Proration

FOR the purpose of establishing a schedule for the proration of
registration fees of commercial motor vehicles in excess of
a certain weight registered for part of a registration year;
providing for the effective date of this Act; and making a
technical correction.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

13-904.

(a)  Except as otherwise provided in this section, the
annual registration fees specified in this subtitle are for the
entire 12 months of a registration year.

(b)  (1) If the registration of a vehicle is issued on or
before the last day of the sixth month of the registration year
