AN ACT concerning

Corporations and Associations - Mergers and Consolidations

FOR the purpose of requiring the representative of certain
successor corporations to file with the Department of
Assessments and Taxation an affidavit indicating the
existence of an interest in land in Maryland by the
corporation; providing that certain filings may not be
processed by the Department until certain information is
provided; and providing for the effective date of this Act.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

corporation as defined in § 1-101 of this article.
