LAWS OF MARYLAND
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
apply to a trust existing on or after July 1, 1989, regardless of
the effective date of the governing instrument.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning
Regional Planning Council - Members
FOR the purpose of altering the ex officio membership of the
Regional Planning Council to include the Secretary of Human
Resources; making a certain clarifying change; and generally
relating to the membership of the Regional Planning Council.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 78D - Regional Planning Council
4.
(a) The membership of the Council shall include three
representatives from the City of Baltimore, three representatives
from each of the counties of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll,
Harford and Howard, a representative from the City of Annapolis,
the Secretary of State Planning, the Secretary of Transportation,
the Secretary of Natural Resources, the Secretary of Health and
Mental Hygiene, THE SECRETARY OF ECONOMIC AND EMPLOYMENT
DEVELOPMENT, THE SECRETARY OF THE ENVIRONMENT, THE SECRETARY OF
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, THE SECRETARY OF HUMAN
RESOURCES, and four representatives to be appointed by the
Governor, namely, two members of the Maryland Senate, one of whom
shall be a permanent alternate, two members of the Maryland House
