WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 291

(II)  USED TO TRANSPORT AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS,
FARM MACHINERY, OR FARM SUPPLIES TO OR FROM A FARM;

(III)  NOT USED IN THE OPERATIONS OF A COMMON OR
CONTRACT MOTOR CARRIER; AND

(IV)  USED WITHIN 150 MILES OF THE PERSON'S
FARM;

(2)  AN EMERGENCY VEHICLE:

(I)  EQUIPPED WITH AUDIBLE AND VISUAL SIGNALS;
AND

(II)  OPERATED BY A MEMBER OF OR A PERSON IN THE
EMPLOY OF A VOLUNTEER OR PAID FIRE OR RESCUE ORGANIZATION; OR

(3)  A VEHICLE OWNED BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT
OF DEFENSE IF IT IS CONTROLLED AND OPERATED BY:

(I)  ANY ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY PERSONNEL; OR

(II)  ANY MEMBER OF THE MILITARY RESERVES OR
NATIONAL GUARD ON ACTIVE DUTY, INCLUDING PERSONNEL ON FULL-TIME
NATIONAL GUARD DUTY, PERSONNEL ON PART-TIME TRAINING, AND
NATIONAL GUARD MILITARY TECHNICIANS; OR

(4) A MOTOR VEHICLE DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED
PRIMARILY TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY LIVING QUARTERS FOR RECREATIONAL,
CAMPING, OR TRAVEL USE.

11-111.1.

"DISQUALIFICATION" MEANS A PROHIBITION AGAINST DRIVING A
COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE AND INCLUDES MANDATORY WITHDRAWAL OF
COMMERCIAL DRIVING PRIVILEGES.

11-118.

"Emergency vehicle" means any of the following vehicles that

are designated by the Administration as entitled to the

exemptions and privileges set forth in the Maryland Vehicle Law
for emergency vehicles:

(1)  Vehicles of federal, State, or local law
enforcement agencies;

(2)  Vehicles of volunteer fire companies, rescue
squads, fire departments, the Maryland Institute for Emergency
Medical Services Systems, and the Maryland Fire and Rescue
Institute;
