expenses may not be allowed to a judge for attending sessions of
his court except as specifically provided.

(e) Each of the judges of the court for Baltimore County
shall receive an annual compensation of [$21,000] $25,000
$27,000. The Chief Judge shall receive an additional [$1,000]
$2,000 annually.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act
may not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or
compensation of the judges of the Orphans' Court for Baltimore
County in office on the effective date of this Act, but the
provisions of this Act concerning the salary or compensation of
the judges of the Orphans' Court for Baltimore County shall take
effect at the beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Montgomery County - Department of Liquor

Control - Employment

MC 901-89

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Department of Liquor Control
for Montgomery County to grant exceptions from certain
employment restrictions in certain circumstances to
employees of the Department who seek part-time employment
with retail alcoholic beverages licensees; and generally
relating to dual employment by employees of the Department
of Liquor Control for Montgomery County.
