AN ACT concerning

Montgomery County Board of Education -

Composition and Election Student Member

FOR the purpose of permitting the student member of the
Montgomery County Board of Education to vote on certain
actions by the Board; adding an elected member to the
Montgomery County Board of Education; providing for the

initial selection of the additional member; providing

certain exceptions; allowing the Board, under certain
circumstances and on a certain vote, to determine whether
certain matters under consideration by the Board are
excluded from the vote of the student member; specifying
the minimum vote for the passage of motions by the Board;
making certain stylistic changes; and generally relating to
the Montgomery County Board of Education.

(a) In this subtitle, the following words have the meanings
indicated:
