AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County - Transfer Tax
Prince George's County Council - Ethics and Taxing Authority

FOR the purpose of repealing extending the termination date
applicable to a certain increase in the maximum allowable
transfer tax in Prince George's County.
FOR the purpose of prohibiting a member of the County Council of
Prince George's County from voting or participating in
certain zoning proceedings if the member has received,
during a certain period of time, a contribution from a
certain person involved in the proceeding; requiring a
certain disclosure by certain persons of certain
contributions; requiring a certain person to file a certain
affidavit at certain times; providing for the enforcement of
the provisions of this Act; defining certain terms;
extending the termination date applicable to a certain
increase in the maximum allowable transfer tax in Prince
George's County; extending the termination date for the
Prince George's County energy tax; providing that revenue
from the transfer and energy taxes may be used to enforce
certain ethics law provisions; generally relating to grants
of authority to Prince George's County with regard to energy
taxes and transfer taxes and to limitations on voting or
participating in zoning proceedings by members of the Prince
George's County Council; and making this Act an emergency
measure.
