(b) The consultant must:

(1) be registered by the [Maryland Architectural
Registration] STATE Board OF ARCHITECTS;

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of Section 2 of this Act are intended solely to correct technical
errors in the current law and to conform to terminology in the

Business Occupations Article (as enacted by Chapter ___ (S.B. 1)

of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1989) and there is no
intent for Section 2 of this Act to revive or otherwise affect
law that is the subject of other Acts, whether those Acts were
signed by the Governor before or after the signing of this Act.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to the
approval of the Revisor of Statutes, the publishers of the
Annotated Code of Maryland shall propose the correction of
cross-references that are rendered incorrect by this Act or by
Chapter ___ (S.B. 1) of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1989.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect October 1, 1989.
