LAWS OF MARYLAND

SECTION 2.       AND BE IT     FURTHER ENACTED, That the initial

terms of the 2     new members     of the sanitary commission in

Worcester County  appointed as a   result of the Act shall expire as
follows:

(1)  1 member in 1993; and

(2)  1 member in 1994.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

(House Bill 442)

AN ACT concerning

Calvert County - Gaming

FOR the purpose of requiring that certain organizations in
Calvert County obtain a certain permit, issued by the County
Commissioners, to hold certain gaming events; prohibiting
persons under a certain age from participating in the gaming
events; requiring the appointment of a gambling permit
review committee for certain purposes; authorizing a certain
fee for the permit; making this Act an emergency measure;
and generally relating to the conduct of gaming events in
Calvert County.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
