AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Orphans' Court - Salaries

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of the judges of the
Orphans' Court for Charles County; providing that this Act
does not apply to the salary or compensation of the
incumbent judges; maintaining the salary established in a
previous Act; clarifying language; and generally relating to
the judges of the Orphans' Court for Charles County.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

2-101.

In the estates of decedents law, the word court means the
orphans' court in a county, or the court exercising the
jurisdiction of the orphans' court in a county.
