NOT INCONSISTENT WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That presently
existing obligations or contract rights may not be impaired by
this Act.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

State Aviation Administration - Unit Name

FOR the purpose of altering the unit name of the State Aviation
Administration.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Transportation

Section 2-107(a)(l), 5-101(b) and (c), 5-201, 5-202(a), and

the amended subtitle "Subtitle 2. Maryland State

Aviation Administration" of Title 5
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1977 Volume and 1988 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

2-107.

(a)  The following units are in the Department:

(1) [State] MARYLAND STATE Aviation Administration;
5-101.

(b)   "Administration" means the [State] MARYLAND STATE
Aviation Administration.
