Supplement the appropriation, "Construct
wastewater treatment plant", originally made
by Chapter 597 on page 2739 of the Acts of
1987, Section 1(5) of Chapter 597 of the Acts
of 1987 being hereby modified to the extent
that work may begin upon satisfactory
assurances to the Board of Public Works that
the project can be completed with the
aggregate of funds herein and heretofore
appropriated for this purpose....................

(c)  Freedom District (Carroll County):

Provide State's share of the cost of
renovations to the wastewater treatment
plant............................................

(d)  Eastern Pre-Release Unit (Queen Anne's
County):

Construct wastewater treatment plant.............

(2)  Forest, Park and Wildlife Service:

(a)  Assateague State Park (Worcester County):
Construct bathhouse/concession building..........

(b)  Patapsco Valley State Park (Anne Arundel,
Baltimore, Carroll, and Howard Counties):
Design and construct the stabilization of
Bloede Dam. The Department of Natural
Resources in consultation with the Department
of General Services and the Department of
Budget and Fiscal Planning shall use this
appropriation to review and evaluate
alternative solutions for the Bloede Dam
including but not limited to restoration or
removal. The Department of Natural Resources
will report to the budget committees on the
specific plans for implementation and on cost
estimates for all appropriate alternatives by
November 1, 1989.............................
