levy taxes and/or special assessments against all assessable
property to repay such sum or sums of money together with the
interest thereon.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - Road Funds to Municipalities

FOR the purpose of altering the purposes for which the Queen
Anne's County funds that are paid to the County's municipal
corporations may be used; clarifying language and structure;
specifying the caption for the section of the Queen Anne's
County Code of Public Local Laws affected by this Act; and
generally relating to the payments made by Queen Anne's
County to the municipal corporations in that County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

1-703.

(A) The County Commissioners [of Queen Anne's County may],
on or before the first Monday in February[, 1956, and] annually
OF EACH YEAR [thereafter], MAY pay over to the municipal
