(III) $25 FOR ANY OTHER LICENSE.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of
this Act shall take effect July 1, 1989 and remain in effect
until the taking effect of Section 2.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of
this Act shall take effect October 1, 1989, contingent on the

taking effect of Chapter _____ (S.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1989. However, if Chapter _____ does not

become effective, then Section 2 of this Act shall not take
effect and shall be null and void without the necessity of
further action by the General Assembly.

AN ACT concerning

Accountancy - Limited Licenses and Permits

FOR the purpose of providing for the issuance of limited licenses
to individuals who practice certified public accountancy in
Maryland under certain circumstances; providing for the
issuance of limited permits to corporations and partnerships
that practice certified public accountancy in Maryland under
certain circumstances; establishing fees; providing for the
effective date of this Act; and generally relating to
limited license and permit holders for the practice of
certified public accountancy.
