In subsection (a)(2)(ii) of this section, the defined
term "consumer member[s]" is substituted for the
former reference to "representatives of the public",
for brevity and conformity to other provisions of this
article.

4-203. OFFICERS.

FROM AMONG THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD, THE GOVERNOR SHALL
APPOINT A PRESIDENT, TREASURER, AND SECRETARY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as the fifth
sentence of Art. 56, § 428(a).

The phrases "[f]rom among the members of the Board"
are added for clarity.

The only other changes are in style.

4-204. MEETINGS; COMPENSATION; STAFF.

(A)  MEETINGS.

THE BOARD SHALL DETERMINE THE TIMES AND PLACES OF ITS
MEETINGS.

(B)  COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES.

SUBJECT TO THE STATE BUDGET, EACH MEMBER OF THE BOARD IS
ENTITLED TO:

(1)  $40 FOR EACH DAY ON WHICH THE MEMBER IS ENGAGED
IN THE DUTIES OF OFFICE; AND

(2)  REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES UNDER THE STANDARD
STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS.

(C)  STAFF.

THE BOARD MAY EMPLOY A STAFF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE
BUDGET.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a) and (c) of this section are
standard language added for clarity. These additions
conform to the practice of the Board.
