LAWS OF MARYLAND
SECTION 10. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the 1986
Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Calvert County, as
supplemented, being Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, published under the direction of the Board of County
Commissioners of Calvert County is legalized. Also, any pocket
or loose-leaf supplement to this Code published under the
direction of the Board of County Commissioners of Calvert County
is legalized. The 1986 Code shall contain all public local laws,
ordinances, and resolutions relating to Calvert County in effect
after the 1985 Regular Session of the General Assembly of
Maryland. The Code and any supplement to the Code shall be
deemed and taken in all the courts of the State and by all judges
of the courts and by all other public officials of the State and
of any of its political subdivisions as evidence of the Public
Local Laws of Calvert County in effect at the time of
compilation.
SECTION 11. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the 1988
Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset County being
Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
published under the direction of the Board of County
Commissioners of Somerset County, is legalized. The Code shall
contain all public local laws relating to Somerset County
following the 1988 Regular Session of the General Assembly of
Maryland. The Code shall be deemed and taken in all the courts
of the State, and by all public officials of the State and of its
several political subdivisions, to be evidence of the Public
Local Laws of Somerset County in effect at the time of
compilation.
SECTION 12. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Chapter 77 of
the Acts of 1983 is intended to cure technical defects of notice
or registration in municipal corporation charter enactments, but
not fundamental defects.
SECTION 13. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the publishers
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, subject to the approval of the
Director of the Department of Legislative Reference, shall insert
the correct date in the text of any law of Maryland, whether
codified or uncodified, that refers to the "effective date of
this Act".
SECTION 14. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the publishers
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, subject to the approval of the
Director of the Department of Legislative Reference, shall make
any changes in the text of the Annotated Code necessary to
effectuate any termination provision that was enacted by the
General Assembly and has taken effect or will take effect prior
to October 1, 1989. Any enactment of the 1989 Session of the
