(f) The Secretaries of State Planning and General Services
shall evaluate any project for additional funding and certify in
writing that the project meets the criteria in subsection (e) of
this section and that:

(3)  no practicable alternative exists for securing
funding to complete the [report] PROJECT; and

(a) The Treasurer may invest or reinvest unexpended or
surplus money over which the Treasurer has custody:

(4)  IN banker's acceptances guaranteed by banking
institutions which are rated above average in a uniform
investment grading system by a recognized rating service;

(c) (1) Subject to § 2-1312 of the State Government
Article, the Treasurer shall report by January 3 of each year to
the General Assembly on any investments made under subsection
(a)[(5)] (6) of this section.

Occurred: The error in subsection (a)(4) occurred in
Ch. 512, Acts of 1988 and the error in subsection
(c)(1) occurred as a result of the concurrent
codification of Chs. 512 and 612, Acts of 1988.

(a) (3) "Private sector enterprise" means any commercial,
industrial, [educational] EDUCATIONAL, or research organization
which is not a part of or controlled by a federal, State, or
local government agency.
