Occurred: The omitted comma and unclear language
occurred in Ch. 601, Acts of 1959. Ch. 457, Acts of
1968 created the Department of Parole and Probation
and Ch. 208, Acts of 1968 added that terminology to
Article 27, § 645K. However, Ch. 401, Acts of 1970
changed the name from "Department" to "Division", and
no comparable change was made in § 645K.

(d) In the event of any violation of trust or conditions
proscribed by the court, for conduct and employment, a prisoner
may be removed from the work release program and any earned
diminution may be cancelled. Failure of a prisoner to comply with
the terms of his authorization for leave shall be considered as a
violation of the [provision] PROVISIONS of § 139 of this article.

(c) The county detention center administrator shall set
down adequate guidelines and rules as [is] ARE deemed necessary
to conduct the work release program in considering the security
of the detention center and the safety of the public but the
rules and conditions shall be in conformity with any conditions
that a sentencing or administrative judge may impose in a
particular case. In the event of any violation of trust or
conditions prescribed in the rules for conduct and employment, a
prisoner may be removed from the work release . program and any
earned diminution of sentence may be cancelled after an
administration hearing has taken place.
