COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

requirements as amendments to the text of the
Zoning Ordinance

providing that the County Executive may approve
or disapprove a subdivision regulation or
amendment adopted by the District Council

providing a process to allow the District

Council to override the disapproval of the

subdivision regulation or amendment by the
County Executive

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery
County Subdivision Regulations, Chapter 50 of the
Montgomery County Code:

Chapter 50                            "Subdivision of Land"

Effective Date March 23, 1987.

Zoning Text Amendment No.: 87002

Ordinance No.: 11-3

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the
purpose of

deleting existing procedures for District
Council review and approval of public school
facility re-use proposals.

deleting a 1984 proviso added to the special
exception requirements for private educational
institutions, which requires that any private or
parochial school use initiated in a former
public school building must be approved in
accordance with the School Re-Use Text Amendment
of 1984.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery
County Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery
County Code:

Section 59-A-6.10 Re-Use of Public School

Buildings

Section 59-G-2.19                     Educational Institutions,

Private, Subsection
(c), Exemptions

Effective Date May 4, 1987.
