RESOLUTION

A Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the Town of New
Market, a body corporate and politic of the State of Maryland,
dated April 8, 1987, and introduced at a regular meeting of the
Mayor and council to provide for the enlargement of the corporate
boundaries of the Town of New Market by extending the corporate
limits of the Town and in so doing to repeal and re-enact with
amendments that resolution of the Town of New Market which was
introduced at a meeting of the Mayor and council of the Town of
New Market, held December 14, 1977, on which a public hearing was
held on March 8, 1978, and which was passed at a meeting of said
Mayor and council on March 8, 1978, effective April 22, 1978,
regarding the corporate boundaries of said town; providing as to
the conditions and circumstances applicable to the change in
boundaries to the residents and property within the area to be
annexed; further providing for notice thereof of a public hearing
to be held by the Mayor and council, the effective date of the
resolution, if adopted, and the registration of boundaries as set
forth in Article 23 A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1981
Replacement Volume.

RESOLUTION NO. 88-01C

A Resolution to Amend Sections of the Municipal Charter of
North East to provide that the Town may assess fees, charges and
assessments in connection with extension of its water lines
within or outside of its corporate boundaries; and it may require
the submission of plans and specifications for approval by the
Town by amending Article X, Water and Sewers, Section 1001,
"Powers" by adding new sections b, c and d and re-lettering
current b, c, d and e to e, f, g and h.

Further amending Article XII, Town Property, Section 1201,
"Acquisition, Possession and Disposal" to provide that the Town
