CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 87-2

Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Morningside, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article 11-3 of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, 1957
edition, as, amended, entitled, "Corporations - Municipal", and
such amendment to modify the section dealing with meetings of the
Council to repeal and reenact Section 52-6, "Meetings of the
Council" bringing it into conformance with Section 10-508, State
Government Article, Annotated Code of Maryland.

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING:

Charter of the Town of Mount Airy

FOR THE PURPOSE OF repealing and reenacting Sec. C2-4 of the
Charter of Mount Airy as codified in the Mount Airy Code to
provide that Maryland Code, State Government Title, Secs. 10-501
to 10-510 shall apply to all meetings of the Council.
