RESOLUTION NO. 6-87
A Resolution of the Council of the City of Bowie, Maryland
to adopt a new Section 89.1 to the Charter of the City of Bowie,
Maryland in order to provide a procedure for the creation of
special taxing districts for public bus and ride sharing systems,
as well as to make certain technical amendments to the existing
charter.
[Section 89.1 of the Charter of the City of Bowie, Prince
George's County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), added.
Effective Date December 8, 1987]
CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 7-87
TO ESTABLISH THE CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD
OF CONTRACTS BASED UPON THE "BEST" BID
AND TO CORRECT SOME LANGUAGE
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWIE, MARYLAND,
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article HE ' of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended), to amend
Section 61 entitled, "Purchasing and Contracting", said Section
being Section 5-61 of Subtitle 5 of Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended), which
article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the City of
Bowie, by repealing and re-enacting with amendments aid Section
61.

George's County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 8-87
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWIE, MARYLAND,
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 12 and 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1987 Replacement Volume), to
repeal and reenact Section 23 of the Charter of the City of Bowie
entitled, "Board of Supervisors of Elections - Generally", by
amending said Section 23, to provide for two alternatives to be
appointed to the Board of Supervisors of Elections and to state
