MUNICIPAL. CHARTERS

Section 16 entitled, "Salary", said Section being Section 5—16 of
Subtitle 5 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended), which article contains in
whole or in part the Charter of the City of Bowie, by repealing.
and reenacting with amendments said Section 16.

RESOLUTION NO. 4-87

A Resolution of the Council of the City of Bowie, Maryland
to amend Section 88 to the Charter of the City of Bowie, Maryland
in order to provide for special taxing districts for public bus
and ride sharing systems.

amendments.

RESOLUTION NO. 5-87

A Resolution of the Council of the City of Bowie, Maryland,
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 12 and 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1987 Replacement Volume), to
repeal and reenact Section 53 of the Charter of the City of Bowie
entitled, "Due date of taxes; date unpaid taxes are delinquent,
etc.," by amending said Section 53, Subsection (d) to delete the
rate by which the penalty on overdue taxes is calculated and to
authorize the City Council to set the rate by Ordinance.
