circumstances; altering certain disciplinary grounds;
providing for certain hearings by a hearing officer;
providing that the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene
may employ certain staff for the Board; requiring the
Attorney General to assign a sufficient number of assistant
attorneys general to provide adequate assistance to the
Board; requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene
to assign a sufficient number of investigators and hearing
officers to provide adequate assistance to the Board
establishing certain time limitations for the disposition of
certain complaints; requiring the Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene to submit a certain annual report to the
Legislative Policy Committee; providing for the application
and construction of this Act; specifying that certain
regulations, standards, and guidelines continue in effect
under the Board; making certain technical changes; and
generally relating to the system for medical discipline.
