LAWS OF MARYLAND

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of Article 2B, § 53(j) shall remain effective for a period of 1
year and, at the end of June 30, 1989, and with no further action
required by the General Assembly, Article 2B, § 53(j) shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.

SECTION 2. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Energy Tax --Exemption for Municipal
Corporations —Exemption for Municipal Corporations

FOR the purpose of exempting from the Prince George's energy tax,
energy or fuel used by a municipal corporation in the
county; and authorizing the County Council to provide
certain exemptions from the tax and to provide for the
refund of the tax to certain persons; and authorizing the
County Council to provide certain exemptions from the tax
and to provide for the refund of the tax to certain persons;
providing for the effective date and abrogation and
abrogation of this Act; and generally relating to the Prince
George's County energy tax; and generally relating to the
Prince George's County energy tax.
