AN ACT concerning

Harford County Economic Development Loan of 1986

FOR the purpose of amending Chapter 376 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1986 to alter the purpose of the Harford
County Economic Development Loan of 1986 by permitting the
proceeds to be used for the construction and equipping of an
auxiliary police building, and for the rehabilitation,
renovation, and repair of the Main Street Theatre, adding
certain entities as recipients of the loan; extending the
time for the recipients to present certain evidence to the
Board of Public Works; and generally relating to the Harford
County Economic Development Loan of 1986.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 376 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1986
Section 1

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Chapter 376 of the Acts of 1986

authorizing the creation of a State Debt in the total amount of
$125,000, $75,000 of the proceeds to be used as a grant to the
Mayor and City Council of Havre de Grace for the construction and
equipping of an Auxiliary Police Training and Community Center
building, $35,000 to the Main Street Theatre, Inc. for the
rehabilitation, renovation, and repair of the Main Street
Theatre, Inc. in Bel Air, and $15,000 to the Edgewood
Multipurpose Youth Center, Inc. for the rehabilitation and
improvement of the Center; requiring certain easements be granted
to the Maryland Historical Trust; and generally providing for the
issue and sale of bonds evidencing the loan.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:

(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur
indebtedness on behalf of the State of Maryland through a State
loan to be known as the Harford County [Economic Development]
IMPROVEMENT Loan of 1986 1988 in the total principal amount of
$125,000. This loan shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale,
and delivery of State general obligation bonds authorized by a
resolution of the Board of Public Works and issued, sold, and.
