In subsection (a) of this section, the former
reference to "approval by the Board" is deleted as
misleading since the State Board must issue a new
State license on payment of the fee.

In subsection (b)(2) of this section, the reference to
"change of status fee" is substituted for the former
references to an "additional fee" and a "{l}icense
transfer fee", to conform to changes in terminology
made throughout this title.

SUBTITLE 5.

RECIPROCITY.

2-501. "RECIPROCAL LICENSE" DEFINED.

IN THIS SUBTITLE, "RECIPROCAL LICENSE":

(1) MEANS A LICENSE TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL SERVICES
ISSUED BY:

(I) THE STATE BOARD ON THE BASIS OF A LICENSE
ISSUED BY A LOCAL JURISDICTION; OR

LICENSE ISSUED BY:

(II) A LOCAL JURISDICTION ON THE BASIS OF A

1.  THE STATE BOARD; OR

2.  ANOTHER LOCAL JURISDICTION; AND

(2) INCLUDES ANY TYPE OR CLASS OF LICENSE THAT THE
STATE BOARD OR A LOCAL JURISDICTION ISSUES TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL
SERVICES.

COMMITTEE COMMENT: This section is new language added to
avoid repetition of phrases such as "electrical
license of the same class that is issued by the State
Board or a local board" or "electrical license that is
issued by the State Board or a local board for the
same type of work performed".
