WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor                   Ch. 648

person to whom a local license is assigned, rather
than only one of those names, as required under the
ninth sentence of former Art. 56, § 534(d).

In subsection (c)(1) of this section, the former word
"personal" is deleted as surplusage.

In subsection (c)(2) of this section, the defined term
"engage{s} in the business of providing electrical
services" is substituted for the former reference to
"a single person, firm, or corporation by which the
licensee is principally employed", to conform to the
interpretation of the Department that an assignment of
a license may be made only to a business.

As to the assignment of a local license and its
effect, see Subtitle 4 of this title.

Defined terms: "Assignment of local license" § 2-101
"Engage in the business of providing

electrical services" § 2-101
