WITH MORE THAN 50 CRAB POTS, FINFISH, OYSTERS, OR CLAMS UNLESS
THE APPLICANT COMPLIES WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.
(C) BEFORE THE DEPARTMENT MAY ISSUE TO A PERSON A NEW TIDAL
FISH LICENSE, THE PERSON MUST:
(1) REGISTER WITH THE DEPARTMENT ON A FORM PROVIDED
BY THE DEPARTMENT AT LEAST 2 YEARS BEFORE THE YEAR OF LICENSE
ISSUANCE;
(2) PAY ALL APPLICABLE TIDAL FISH LICENSE FEES SET
UNDER § 4-701 OF THIS SUBTITLE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION; AND
(3) APPLY WITH THE DEPARTMENT ONLY DURING THE MONTHS
OF JULY AND AUGUST OF ANY YEAR.
(D) AN APPLICANT IS NOT REQUIRED TO PASS A TEST TO OBTAIN A
NEW TIDAL FISH LICENSE UNDER THIS SECTION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

(House Bill 302)
AN ACT concerning
Plumbers
FOR the purpose of adding a new Article to the Annotated Code of
Maryland, to be designated and known as "Article 56A -
Miscellaneous Business Occupations", to revise, restate, and
recodify, through both substantive and nonsubstantive
changes, the laws of this State relating and pertaining to
the business occupation of plumbing, including: defining
certain terms; creating a definition for "provide plumbing
services"; clarifying the applicability of this Act to the
jurisdictions in this State; altering certain provisions
relating to the State regulatory board for plumbing,
including its name, membership requirements, quorum
requirements, investigatory and injunctive powers, and its
power to grant licenses; altering the requirements for
adoption of the State Plumbing Code; requiring the State
Board of Plumbing periodically to review certain standards
for water conserving appliances, devices, fittings, and
fixtures and the availability and cost of water conserving
