AUTHORITY OF THE TREASURER AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS
SUBSECTION;

(III) CONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION RELATED
SERVICES FOR PORT FACILITIES, AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 6-101(D) OF
THE TRANSPORTATION ARTICLE;

(IV) PORT RELATED ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING
SERVICES, AS PROVIDED IN PART XIV OF THIS SUBTITLE; AND

(V) LEASES OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PORT RELATED
ACTIVITIES IF THE LEASE PAYMENTS ARE NOT PAID FROM THE GENERAL
FUND.

(a)  In this Part XIV the following words have the meanings
indicated.

(b)  "Architectural and engineering services" means
architectural services, engineering services, or both.

(c)  "Transportation Agency" means the Department of
Transportation, any of its units, [or] the Maryland
Transportation Authority, OR THE MARYLAND PORT COMMISSION.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Finance and Procurement

11-101.

(k) "Primary procurement units" means:

(1) the State Treasurer;

(2) the Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning;

(3) the Department of General Services;

(4) the Department of Transportation; [and]

(5) the University of Maryland; AND

(6) THE MARYLAND PORT COMMISSION.
