(V) 1. A PERSON WHO IS EMPLOYED BY THE ATTORNEY
GENERAL'S OFFICE, THE OFFICE OF THE STATE PROSECUTOR, OR ANY
STATE'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE IN ANY COUNTY OTHER THAN TALBOT COUNTY
MAY NOT BE COMPENSATED BY TALBOT COUNTY FOR SERVING AS A SPECIAL
ASSISTANT STATE'S ATTORNEY FOR TALBOT COUNTY.
2. HOWEVER, TALBOT COUNTY MAY ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT TO REIMBURSE THE COUNTY, AGENCY, OR OTHER
GOVERNMENTAL BODY FOR THE SERVICES OF A PERSON ORDINARILY
EMPLOYED BY THAT COUNTY, AGENCY, OR GOVERNMENTAL BODY AND WHO
ALSO SERVES AS A SPECIAL ASSISTANT STATE'S ATTORNEY FOR TALBOT
COUNTY.
(vi) An attorney may not be precluded from
accepting a criminal case in the private practice of the attorney
by virtue of the person's service on a temporary basis as a
special assistant State's Attorney for Talbot County.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning
Wicomico County Election Board - Compensation
FOR the purpose of altering the amount of compensation for
members of the Wicomico County Board of Supervisors of
Elections; providing that members of the Wicomico County
Board of Supervisors of elections may not receive additional
salary or compensation for performing certain election
duties in the County; providing a specific annual amount of
compensation for substitute members of the Board; and
generally relating to the Wicomico County Board of
Supervisors of Elections.
