SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

96.

(a)  In Charles County, notwithstanding any other provisions
of this subtitle, the hours of sale for alcoholic beverages shall
be as follows:

(1)  Monday, 6 a.m. to Tuesday, 2 a.m.

(2)  Tuesday, 6 a.m. to Wednesday, 2 a.m.

(3)  Wednesday, 6 a.m. to Thursday, 2 a.m.

(4)  Thursday, 6 a.m. to Friday, 2 a.m.

(5)  Friday, 6 a.m. to Saturday, 2 a.m.

(6)  Saturday, 6 a.m. to Sunday, 2 a.m.

(7)  Sunday, 6 a.m. to Sunday, midnight.

(b)  It is unlawful for any licensee, his agent or employee,
to sell any alcoholic beverages on any day between the hours of 2
o'clock a.m. and 6 o'clock a.m. and that part of any premises
where alcoholic beverages are sold or displayed shall be open
only during the hours of sale for alcoholic beverages set out in
subsection (a). In the case of any on-sale class of license, all
bottles and containers must be removed from the table on or
before the hours of closing indicated in subsection (a). It is
unlawful to sell any alcoholic beverages between midnight,
Sunday, and 6 o'clock a.m. Monday. [It is unlawful to sell any
liquors on Sunday between the hours of 2 o'clock a.m. and 12
o'clock noon.]
