AN ACT concerning

Law Enforcement and Correctional Training Fund , Correctional,

and Police Officers

FOR the purpose of exempting from the certification requirements
of the Police Training Commission nonfull-time police.
officers employed by certain law enforcement units; defining
a certain term; providing for the effective date of this
Act) establishing a Law Enforcement and Correctional
Training Fund to be used for law enforcement and
correctional training; increasing certain court costs;
clarifying the charging of certain court costs; designating
a revenue source for the fund, with certain exceptions and
under certain conditions; providing for the collection of
revenues; establishing a Board of Trustees to administer the
fund; providing for the appointment of Board members and the
Board Chairman; fund; requiring the State Comptroller to
establish and maintain a certain account; setting forth

restrictions on a certain account; providing for the

promulgation of rules and regulations; requiring the Board
of Trustees to report certain information to the Governor

and General Assembly; providing for the accounting,

investing and budgeting of the Fund in a certain manner;
establishing a certain date for the withdrawal of funds; and
generally relating to the employment of police officers and
the Law Enforcement and Correctional Training Fund.
