Ch. 310

entire proceeds, excluding costs incurred for personnel,
supplies, equipment, and other expenses incidental thereto, are
devoted to charitable purposes exclusively or in furtherance of
the purposes of such organization or corporation, and if the cash
or prize awards conform with the following limits:

(1)  Five (5) early bird games at $45 each;

(2)  Nineteen (19) regular games at $75 each;

(3)  One (1) regular game with a jackpot starting at
$150 with a consolation prize of $75; $75 to be added to the
jackpot each night;

(4)  Four (4) regular special games at $150 each;

(5)  Four (4) split-the-pot games; prize on the
split-the-pot games not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the
proceeds of the games;

(6)  One (1) winner-take-all game; prize on the
winner-take-all game not to exceed the entire proceeds of the
game;

(7)  One (1) $3,000 jackpot game starting at fifty
(50) numbers; one (1) number to be added every second night,
consolation prize of $375 to be given if jackpot is not won;

(8)  One (1) buildup-jackpot game starting at $300 and
fifty (50) numbers; one (1) number and $75 to be added each
night; consolation prize of $225 to be given if jackpot is not
won;

(9)  A total amount of $75 for all door prizes
combined; or

(10)  Any combination of the above GAMES, not to
exceed a total of $4,000.

(c) (1) Before the game of bingo may be played in Baltimore
City, it shall be necessary to obtain a permit for same after
application shall have been made to the police commissioner of
said city. It shall be the duty of the police commissioner to
ascertain the character of the organization on whose behalf the
application is made to determine if such applicant comes within
the provisions of this section. The application and the action
taken thereon by the police commissioner shall be a public
record. When the police commissioner issues said permit, he shall
receive a fee of not in excess of ten dollars ($10.00) per
[payment] DAY ON WHICH THE OPERATION OF BINGO IS AUTHORIZED, not
to exceed a total of $750 per 3-month period, to cover the costs
of administration of this provision; A PERMIT MAY AUTHORIZE THE
CONDUCT AND OPERATION OF BINGO ON ONE DAY, OR ON ANY SPECIFIED
